The TEAD MWR Matting & Framing Shop, bldg #1004 offers custom matting and framing, as well as classes so you can learn to do your own!  This newly remodeled facility offers all the tools and equipment you need to professionally matt and frame your photo's, paintings or other artwork.  Members of the local community are also eligible to use this facility, through our partnership agreement with the Tooele City Arts Council.

Custom Framing Price varies depending on materials used and labor involved; bring your project in for an estimate...our prices are the best in the County!
DIY Framing  Cost of materials plus $5/day for use of our shop, equipment and tools
 Framing Class  $25 for group class (minimum 3 students required)
Custom Engraving
  • Starts at $1 per sq. inch with materials provided by us
  • $1 per minute on materials provided by customer
Woodshop Use $5 per day
Pottery Studio
  • Hand Clay; $15 per 25 pounds by special order (clay is not kept in-stock)
  • Pottery class; $50/person for 4 week class; 4 student minimum
  • Kiln Firing; $.10 per inch

Craft Boutiques

We host several seasonal "holiday-oriented" crafts boutiques each year, in partnership with the Tooele City Arts Council.  We publicize each of these individually; watch for our ads in the Tooele paper, in your city water bill, and on our Facebook page.
